The cash department accepts payments for market fees, supervision fees, agricultural produce collateral, stall rent, and other miscellaneous payments at the market committee. Receipts are generated for payments received in cash, by cheque, and through net banking, and these amounts are deposited daily into the market committee's bank account. All these transactions are recorded in the cash book.
