The Shiv Bhojan scheme is currently being implemented by the Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Pulgaon. It provides meals at a subsidized rate to farmers and farm laborers who bring their produce to the market. Under this scheme, farmers are provided a meal plate for only ₹5. This includes 2 chapatis, 1 bowl of vegetable curry, 1 bowl of dal, and rice. The sole objective achieved by the committee here is to provide farmers and farm laborers with a filling meal at a low cost.
